Father introduced her to the game at age 3. Coached by Jiri Fencl. Prefers clay surface. Father, Vladimir, is a teacher and tennis coach, mother, Zdena, is a nurse; has a younger sister named Marketa. Favorites include the colors black and pink, Italian foods, roses and romantic movies like Titanic. Enjoys music and dancing. Admires Mary Pierce for her style of play. Likes to visit exotic places. Favorite country for tournament play is Italy.
